Product development- I need to develop a product from my initial ideas. This entails making models, testing variations, researching the most efficient designs (structural standpoint, economic standpoint, etc.), and calculating cost for the development of a unit. I anticipate needing to use 3D modeling from the buckle component of the product I am designing, printing and cutting for the strap component, and stitching to bring it all together.

Develop your story, test your product, and craft your pitch- I need to find an idea or problem that I can use to shape the story of my product. I need to test my product and get the opinion of others on how to make it better or more appealing. I need to determine the overall approach I want to take with marketing my product, and who I want to target for it.

Logistics- I need to set a fundraising goal. I need to look at manufacturing and shipping costs, find the realistic amount of money I need to ask for, and determine reward levels and prizes. I need to set campaign time-frames and also select which crowdfunding platform to use.

Eye Candy- I need to focus on marketing my product. I need to get photos and mockups of the product and make a strong presentation and video that will be highlighted on my campaign page. I need to also make a website for my product that is concise, clear, and professional looking.

Putting it all Together- I need to pull all of the work from Moves 2-5 together and actually launch the product.

PR Outreach and Conclusion- I need to work to spread awareness about the campaign, and add campaign goals as needed. I need to summarize my results and explain how things worked out or where my product went wrong.
